We are a non-profit, volunteer run organization whose goal is to provide assistance for underprivileged children and young people in India through projects that promote education. Find out more about our projects by clicking the arrows on the left.

Did you know that in India a B.A. in Fine Arts costs £150? And that a Bachelor in Engineering or a Medical degree costs £400 per year? Despite this, at present only 13% of young people have access to university because of economic hardship. Find out more about this project in the “What We Do” section.

In recent years the number of foundlings in India has increased substantially. Due to economic difficulties many families find it hard, or even impossible, to take care of their children and many are forced to abandon them. Sponsoring a child is the best way to prevent this situation from happening. Find out more in the “What We Do” section.

Ankur is a shelter for girls who have been abandoned by their families due to poverty and their incapability of providing them a better future. Here they are taken care of, receive an education and all the love and affection in the world. Find out more in the “What We Do” section.

According to UNICEF 50% of the children in India suffer from malnutrition. Through this project we provide nutritional support to children who live in slums in Mumbai on condition that they attend school. Find out more in the “What We Do” section.

This project has a double purpose, that of creating new jobs and also fighting adult illiteracy in India, since according to the last census of 2011, 74.04% of the population in Mumbai is illiterate. It consists in paying a salary to five unemployed teachers so that they teach 100 illiterate adults how to read and write.
